Age Limit: Candidates age limit should be 45 years for Sr.No:1 Post, 32 years for Sr.No:2 Post, 37 years for Sr.No:3 Post as on 01-01-2014. Age relaxation will be applicable as per rules.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Degree/ Diploma in Textile Technology/ Handloom Technology from a recognised University/ Institute, experience in relevant field for Sr.No:1 Post, Degree in Civil or Agricultural Engineering of a recognised University or its equivalent qualification for Sr.No:2 Post, First class Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology in relevant field, Master’s degree in relevant field with first class or equivalent from a recognised University for Sr.No:3 Post.
Selection Process: Selection will be made on the basis of Preliminary Examination/ screening test/ written test, interview.
Application Fee: Candidates should pay Rs.210/- through IPO & crossed and endorsed to the Secretary, Public Service Commission, West Bengal, or by a receipted Challan from a Govt. Treasury in West Bengal or the Reserve Bank of India, Kolkata under the head “0051-00-105-State PSC Examination fees-001-Examination fees-16 other fees”. The Postal Orders should be made payable at G.P.O, Kolkata. SC/ ST of West Bengal, PWD candidates are exempted from fee.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates may send their applications in the prescribed format, one copy of his/ her recent passport size photograph duly signed by him/her which should be pasted on the application form along with attested copies of Madhyamik or equivalent certificate, S.C./S.T./O.B.C. (category ‘A’or ‘B’)/ Persons with Disability certificate issued by competent authority, Registration certificate, Mark-sheet and certificate for each examination passed, Experience certificate, IPO, Two self-addressed unstamped envelopes and one self-addressed post card should be enclosed with the application etc on or before 25-11-2014
